Yesterday at ljubljana, there was musical festival going on. I met a number of people 3 german girls, 3 GB guys and one Swedish. 3 Swiss took 8 days to cycle down also. Amazing. They are really lucky to have traveled far and wide. We even met a con artist.
Ljubljana was scary as the ticket inspector looked fierce, the train stations was unmarked, the announcement system didnt work. I even met the Austria Police. Almost became an illegal immigrant. But overall I like the town. It is a bit run down with a scary hostel. But at least the tourist information lady spoke excellent english and helped wonderfully. She was also extremely knowledgeable.
